Delanic Films Limited is an independent film distributor operating in the U.K. & Ireland.

Its founders are Joe Simpson, whose experience includes stints at MGM and Columbia TriStar and Glyn Allanson, a veteran with 20 years’ experience at the world’s leading advertising agencies.

Delanic released its first film, the comedy “Lovewrecked” starring Amanda Bynes, in cinemas across the UK in May 2007, where it grossed more than £600,000. It has subsequently enjoyed great sales success on DVD.

2008 saw the release of biker comedy "Freebird", Peter Howitt's emotionally powerful "Dangerous Parking" and Kevin Costner leading a starry cast through the absurdity of a stalled American election in "Swing Vote".

In 2009 we had success with the Amy Adams/Emily Blunt offbeat comedy "Sunshine Cleaning" and the critically-acclaimed Charlyne Yi/Michael Cera comedy documentary "Paper Heart" released on 6th November.

2010 sees Delanic handling three further releases for Anchor Bay Films: "Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema", "City Island" and "22 Bullets".
